During a discussion regarding locating a new Village Administrator, Kronenwetter APC Committee members joked about changing the name of the Village to aid in finding a new Administrator.
I expect that Kronenwetter Village Residents may not find the situation as humorous as did the APC members.
Perhaps if the Village Board focused on following WI State Statutes and Open Meetings Law, responded to employee insubordination, and avoided spending $64K to smear a fellow Trustee, the Village would be more attractive to Administrator Candidates.
Full Disclosure: I applied for the Village Administrator opening as I feel that I am very well qualified and imagine that the Village will have difficulty attracting a traditional candidate.
