Kronenwetter to Reconsider Speed Limit Reductions on Martin and Maple Ridge Roads

The Village apparently failed to follow Wisconsin State Statutes when it recently reduced the speed limits on Maple Ridge and Martin Roads from 55 mph to 45 mph. The speed limit reductions are on the agenda again for the Monday January 13th, 2025 Village Board Meeting.

The Road Survey report, prepared by the Village’s Public Works Director, finds no justification for reducing the speed limit from 55 mph to 45 mph for either road.
