4. Attendance records for meetings are available for elected officials. Please present your views on attendance and missed meetings, and explain to the residents why someone with a poor record of attendance should or should not be considered for election.
Answer
I think that most constituents would agree that, at a minimum, elected officials should regularly attend meetings.
In 2022, I ran on the platform that “Kronenwetter deserves a voice on the Marathon County Board.” I have been diligent to regularly attend the County Board Voting and Educational Meetings as shown here.
After 2 years of service on the County Board, my hard work, dedication, and results have allowed me to change my platform to “Re-elect A Proven, Effective Leader on the Board.”
Our constituents can decide if the attendance record of my challenger, Chris Voll, meets their expectations for an elected official, as shown here and here.
My challenger may suggest that a change in the night of the Kronenwetter Village Board meetings would allow him to attend more meetings in a new term, but residents could ask why he ran for County Board initially knowing that the Village Board and the County Board both met on the same night.
